Meet Elizabeth "Liz" Bachert! A 22-year-old woman from Wilmington, North Carolina. Inspired by her father's family business, she has built Cardinal State Photography from the ground up. From a young age she was shown that it is possible to turn a passion into a profitable stream of income. After the passing of her father in 2025, Liz struggled with maintaining the standard work environment. The paperwork from her father's estate was becoming another full-time job, in addition to grief. Stepping away from the rat race allowed the portfolio and supporting business documents to be formed. When there isn't a camera in her hand, or a paintbrush, you'll find Liz around downtown Wilmington at the library and looking for stray kitties to feed!
